If you can get to it, you should drag that thing out of there and do everyone a favor!! You could even get a little scratch for the scrap metal in it! Beer money!! Really, things like that are what turn people off to our sport. If you remove it, that makes you a custodian of the sport and paints a very positive image of it in others eye's. I know that you did not put it there, and therfore are not part of the problem, but you can be part of the solution! I always come home with way more trash than I leave with. Food for thought...I'll get off my soap box now, sorry! Land closures SUCK BIG TIME!!

With the cost of steel it might be more than $75. But on the trail cleanliness that is why I belong to the Blue Ribbon Coalition and United Four Wheel Drive Association. They are the backbone of trail maintenance and upkeep. They are national and my membership dues help fund clean-ups throughout the U.S.A.
Might be cool to keep a thread going that explains what Tread Lightly means to each of us!! I have noticed that a lot of the folks on this forum are younger. When I first started wheeling, I did not have any idea what land conservation was, or why it is needed. We don't have a lot of land use issues here in CO. I know a lot of you guys out east do. I know that once it starts happening there is nothing that can be done. This is why we HAVE to be pro-active with this. What do you guys think??
