The NSS needed to be replaced as the wires were exposed. I guess over the years the oil acids eat at the covers. Tried starting it and nothing. I changed out the warrantied starter and got that ready to start and nothing. Checked the battery and it showed 12.5v. What I mean by nothing is that it won't crank over, no engine or dash lights, no radio, no buzzing sound, no headlights etc. I am going to try the ignition relay and fuses. Anything else I can check?

forget all that other crap, if you have no headlights chances are the problem is in your main battery cables. These are a known issueOriginally Posted by xjallseasons

start from the battery and work out, something that pulls big current like headlight globe will do, make it a test light, probe the main feed, earths, PDC terminal, there is also a bit of green wire, that is a big fuse wire, etc etc. (Even just use a test light may work)
(headlights are independent of ignition switch)
your 12V has run away, now u got to go find it

In checking with my system, I found #21 10A mini red fuse that wasn't broken but my test light isn't reading anything. I checked all the other fuses around it and they all gave a reading, except one and the owners manual says it's OPEN. If the fuse is in working condition, could it be the trans control module? If so what am I looking for? Originally Posted by awg

Would this little fuse cause my whole system to not work? It's the first thing I found and I will continue to look over the system
