Ok so last night we installed a new NSS(aftermarket not OEM part) in my 98 Cherokee Sport. After it popped 10 codes, mainly PCM and TCM codes plus a few random. Also The Instrument cluster is going crazy and it very sluggish along with the shifter is very tight.
We are getting ready to clean up the old one and throw some dielectric grease in it. After opening it up we notices on of the contact points seemed to be sticking.
Also it is chewing through alternators. We just replaced the alternator a month or so ago and it's already reading 54ohms. and the alternator was replaced in feb 12.
HELP!!!!!!

found a rock in the stupid thing...hoping that will fix some of the issues...replacing alternator again hopefully it will correct the overcharging issue. Luckily it has a lifetime warranty.
