Default New NSS No Reverse lights

purchased 95 Cherokee Sport, auto trans. It is well used and has some issues. Main problem is no reverse lights. I have cleaned the sockets, checked the wiring, replaced the bulbs. Replaced the NSS and adjusted it properly & checked all fuses. I have power to the plug and continuity between A& E to the NSS but no back up lights in reverse. All other lights work fine! Where do I go from here?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Apply Ebrake.
Turn ignition to run.
Sift to reverse.
Adjust until the back up lights come on.

Did you apply dielectric grease to the contacts?

Thanks for the reply. I had already adjusted the NSS but it did not fix the lights. It must be somewhere else in the wiring. I will keep looking.
Thanks!

Thanks for the replys. I did solve the issue. The previous owner had performed the NSS bypass and pulled the ground wires from the harness plug. I undid that put all the wires back into the plug. I had to silicone them back into place. Plugged it back into the NSS and everything works good.

Thanks for the help everyone. Great forum.
