Your best/cheapest fix is to find out what the problem is and fix it 
If the problem is your front driveshaft banging, find out whether it's a u-joint or the shaft itself. Your front driveshaft has a constant velocity joint (CV joint) in it which are prone to wear out. What you need to do is figure out whether the play in the shaft is the CV joint, the U-joint, or play in the differential or transfer case.
