http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/1664288557.html just wondering if this would be a decent buy. basically he said it is in 4lo and won't come out. however if you drive it and hit a bump it will slip. also said it has like 160 on the clock. the tires are decent as well. i saw it last night and it fired right up with no noises. he said he would take 1500 also. ther also seems to be a small gap between the front and rear door on the drivers side, but not the passenger. thanks for any help.
i have not seen thes ones yet.

1500 for a Cherokee with a busted TC? Not to mention it's already been modded and offroaded, so who knows what else is waiting to break on it?
I'd pass. Pick up an unmolested one and work on it. It'll be more satisfying in the long run, and you'll learn more about the vehicle.

kinda...
It's still totally up to you on how you want to "build" your XJ, ya know?
I think it would be better to get something more stock and less beat-up, like the '94 for $1200.
However, there is alot of hardware on that '92. If you can chew him down a bit more, it would be a good buy... if you don't mind working all the "bugs" out of it.
BTW- Keep your eye out for rust, especially under the carpet!!!
i probably didn't help a bit, huh?

i think i will go with one of the stock ones so that i can add the hardware that i want. i think the other one may be more of a headache than i want, being that i am going to daily drive this thing.
