Default New to the jeep thing

Just got a 96 Cherokee and had a few questions.

What size tire can I go up to without having to worry about tire rubs?

Also I have a flowmaster 40 exhaust and was wondering how that would sound on the jeep?

Thanks

I had a '95 and I put 235x75x15's on with zero rubbing and no lift. I think you can put 30x9.5x15's on with slight rubbing. Most budget boosts (2" lift) claim 30x9.5x15's with no rubbing.

The 40 is a little loud for some people (especially when you get on it), but others love it. Its all preference. Many opt for the 50-series. If you are cat-less, the 40 will be even louder...

I had 30/9.5s on stock and there was only rub when I had heavy loads or people in the jeep when wheeling.
