Question New Jeep Owner w/towing question

I recently got a Jeep Cherokee 2001 4.0L V6. I am about to go on a month long tour where I will be driving the Jeep loaded down with four guys, plus some gear and pulling a trailer full of gear. Probably a 5X8 sized trailer, I am not sure what the weight will be but I have a class III hitch. I plan on changing all fluids and rotating tires before I take off. I was also thinking about adding and auxiliary radiator cooler and some leaf spring helpers to reduce sag. Are these good ideas? Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can minimize strain on my engine and suspension?

I think it really depends on how much your towing. extra springs are always good, it keeps your headlights on the road ;-)

you'll probably want an aux. trans cooler as well.

You might want to consider an aux. oil cooler. http://www.jegs.com/i/Perma-Cool/771/10189/10002/-1

I don't like to correct people, but was wondering who would speak first.

Why not inform them so they better understand their vehicle?

I don't know, I just don't like to correct people. Just another one of my disorders I guess.

Maybe they reduced their inventory.... looks like Comanches and CJs only. Maybe the Comanche has the same leafs . . . but I don't think so.
