are the engines to these last long if in good care. the one i plan on getting is a 94 GC laredo with 162K mile. the PO got the trans reman, waterpump, radiator, brakes and only asking 2800. oh brand new dunlop tires and brakes. its a 4x4
any thing i should also look for or maybe things down the line?

it all depends on what motor you have, if its a 4.0 i6 it may last for 300,000 or more if taken care of properly. Does it have a lift or tires on it? Post some pic's if possible...Tj

 

the kbb on that is around $2200. If he did everything you say then you have some good piece of mind in that there is a lot you don't have to worry about right off the bat.
If you want it and can get it for 2000 to 2200 pick it up. Just realize that you cant expect the world from a 15 year old vehicle you pick up at that price. But, sounds like a good deal to me.

 

My 94 has over 230,000 miles on it, engine running very well needs plenum gasket replaced cuz it burns a bit of oil,. i paid 2300 for a new tranny at about 200,000 miles.(i was stranded and had no other choice) so sounds like your in good shape. I love my jeep to death and will never sell it. If i did sell it i would sell for about 2 grand.
