When I went to put in new headlights in my header I went to test them and only left side is working not the right, but if I were to plug my OEM light in the right side it works perfectly fine.Ive always had an issue with that side via my bright switch, some say it could be a ground but there is a different female plug on the vehicle could that be it?

check the light by giving it 12V and ground with wires from the battery is one way to check,
the female part of the plug may not be making good contact with the male pin, either due to age or corrosion, or the male pins on the new headlight may be marginally slimmer
New headlights won't work on right side
