Hey guys,
I'm new here. I just sold my Honda and bought a 1998 Sport, which I've been wanting for a long time now. 5-speed, 4.0, 95K miles, pretty good condition. I don't have pictures right now cuz my dad took the camera hunting with him. It's all stock though (sep for the sound system), with forest green paint. I'll put picks up soon, but you all know what a stock Cherokee looks like anyway.
I was hoping to start working on it soon, and getting a lift is the first thing on my list. I've been doing my research and all on suspension/lift setups, but I was hoping you guys would be able to throw out some suggestions on lifts that you would recommend. I was thinking maybe 4.5", I don't need to high cuz I don't plan on going any bigger then 32" tires (I don't want to rob too much power with the big tires). Whatever you could let me know would be great. Thanks in advance.

Another lift consideration with a 4.5" lift is long arms if you want a decent ride quality. RE as mentioned is the top of the line in Jeep lifts but one that has not been mentioned if you are considering 4.5" lift is HERE

Would anyone suggest going 3.5 instead? I don't really NEED a huge lift, but I just thought a 4.5 would look better. And it is going to be my daily. Again, I only plan on running 31s (maybe 32s). I notice tht the RE 3.5" (super-flex) is pretty popular.

Thats what I have and it is great on mine which is a DD. The long arms are pretty standard if you need to go higher but drop brackets work as long as you don't plan to go rock crawling as they will hamper clearance. You can easily fit 31s with the RE 3.5 SF kit.
