If you run a can of seafoam through the fuel tank, crank case and the intake to clean out any carbon build up. Check to see if you have leaks in your exhaust, and if you have any problems ask here first, actually search here first then ask lol. New tires certainly can't hurt if needed

 

Since you're responding to my questions... Is there any place I could go to trade the 95 Jeep sport I have for help and parts on my newer 96 Jeep Sport. The 95 has around 280K miles on it and needs a new exhaust system. Also it seems to have a bad engine or transmission or something. Will not drive over 45 miles an hour with out jerking and sometimes dyeing.. I have no idea what's wrong with it.. The old owner never did any work on it every.. ran the oil bone dry etc. I got it free and it ran for a year fine to get me locally from a to b but seemed like to much work to fix...

Do people trade parts anywhere? For example is it possible to use my old 95 jeep cherokee sports parts for trade for say a lift kit or a rock front grill guard etc.

 

Like a barter system for jeep parts... or a forum where people post stuff they have for jeeps that they would trade for other stuff for jeeps???

lets start with rust problems i'm from michigan so i understand your problems
3-m makes great rust rust removal wheels for your drill/die grinder
rustolieum makes a product called rust fix that turns rust into black primer
as far as the other stuff go to like discount tire or sumthin and get your allignment checked don't get an alignment just have it checked they should give you a good idea as to what may be bad
