id first like to say hello and im glad i joined this forum!
i just picked up a fully loaded 84 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer for a steal. it has a 2.8 v6, and an automatic transmission.
first thing i would like to ask is, is there any quirks or common problems i have to look out for with this truck? does the automatic screw anything up lift kit wise?
Thanks in Advance!

well it has 319,000 km on it, so i might replace it with a different motor that bolts up to the tranny. just by doing a bit of reading here it looks like my truck has 3.55 gears, so thatll be nice if i put a 3" lift and some 31's or 32's on.

welcome
what are your plans for this jeep
that way you can get info on the type of off reoading you will be doing
a trail rig is going to be setup different than a rock crawler

well im going for a DD/trail rig for the most part. just getting around when going hunting/fishing. so far im planning on a rusty's 3" lift, some 31x10.5 AT tires, and maybe an ARB locker in the rear down the road.
right now im working on an on board air system, just a 10 gal tank, 2 Viair 480c compressors, and a set of nathan k3l horns. i can use the air system to power the arb locker, and fill tires.
