Default New exhaust torqu specs?
Just installed dynomax cat back yesterday and my xj service manual calls for 45 ft lbs of torque on the muffler clamps>

Seems kinda high?? really looks like I am crishing the pipes to much??

Any ideas

Clamps are suposed to crimp the pipe a little. You really only need to tighten enough that the pipes dont leak.
