Default New alternator suggestions

Well my oem alternator finally died today and so I'm in the market for a new one on my 2000 XJ / 4.0L Sport. Mine has 190,000 miles on it so I won't complain but I'd like to find a quality replacement. Does anyone have any opinions on different brands? Autozone, Advance, O'reilly, NAPA, and Speedway auto parts are all close. I would prefer to rebuild mine but don't have the time. Speedway has brand new TYC alternators and starters but they're made in China. Also, my build sheet shows a 124 amp unit from the factory but every website I look at only lists 117 amp replacements. What's up with that? Any advice is welcomed and thanks in advance!

The TYC stuff is great until it craps out. I'd rather have a rebuilt OEM than a new Chinese.
Rebuilds...Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, Checkers...they stock the same stuff with different names stamped on the box. It's hit or miss. NAPA's stuff was generally higher quality, but I haven't bought from them recently either.
Is there a local electric shop nearby that can rebuild yours? That's often the best route to go. 117 will be fine.

I ended up going with a reman from Advance Auto Parts. With the 15% discount and $25 coupon it was hard to beat the price. Hopefully it works half as long as the OEM. I did notice my voltage gauge dropping to 12-13 volts with the AC on high which concerns me a little. I would feel better with a steady reading of 14 volts but it's running good so we'll see how things go.
