okay got a reman alt from oreilly's. had a charged up red top, cable ends are new, cables appear okay without taking off the loom. im kinda confused here, im thinkin maybe the battery is bad, but not sure but my big concern is maybe the cables have built up enough resistance to have a huge voltage drop. what do yall think?

 

Have you tested the alt with a meter while engine running? Also test the battery, Engine Grounds, Battery Grounds, and Wire the connect at the back of the alt.
