Got a damn good deal on a 2000 Cherokee sport. It's got 207,000 miles runs great. Had a question about leaks, there is a rear differential leak, transmission leak and oil leak. Is this common and how can I fix this situation

Replace the seals and gaskets on the affected components.

Yes, it is common to have a drip or two come from a vehicle with 200k on it. Firestorm pretty much nailed how to resolve the issue.

Oil leaks are probably from a combination of bad valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and shot oil filter adapter O-rings. Fel-Pro makes the best valve cover and oil pan gaskets, use either Napa or actual Mopar for the oil filter O-rings. Rockauto.com actually sells the Mopar if you don't feel like going to a dealer, they're like $9.

Assuming you have a Chrysler 8.25" rear, the Fel-Pro part# for the gasket is 55047. You should make sure the front diff isn't leaking too.

Trans leak is probably coming from the pan, the one in my 00 XJ was silicon'd on but I replaced it with a Wix rubber gasket (and filter screen).

Welcome to the club! I got my 00 XJ with 202k miles for $550, but it had rod knock lol

On your engine start with washing it very well till all the old oil is gone then you can get an idea where the oil is coming from sane for the trans, they can fool you as to where. The O-Rings on the oil filter adapter are usually gone by this time and not that hard to fix.

The differential no gasket needed all you really need is RTV sealant for it because you need to remove the cover to change the fluid often and remove any water if present, same for the front. It would be a good idea to change (All Fluids) on your XJ including a clean and flush of the cooling system with a new thermostat.

Once you do all of those you will have more knowledge of your XJ for sure and its systems a good place to start.
