Default Nerf Bars (pic request, opinion plz)

Found these on craigslist:
http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/1406440689.html

And I'm thinking about getting them. Anyone have any pics with Jeep nerfs? Also want to know about the quality of the Jeep nerfs - how sturdy are they? I don't go wheelin' a ton (yet...I've still only had it for 3 weeks) but I do plan to go off road on some tracks up north here in Michigan. Nothing too rocky or crazy...again, yet.

But I do think they would look sharp on my rig, and they're pretty cheap ... even if I only use them as something to kick my boots off on before I get in in the winter.

Just wondering what the drawback is - need to see some pics too.

OP:
for 45 bucks they are a pretty good buy if you like the look of them, but if you get in to any offroading you might get hung up on them, i beleve they hang down a little bit i havent seen a pic of a jeep with them in a while

i wouldnt use them as rock sliders, thats for sure

Call em whatever you wanna call em man, I linked to the craigslist ad so you can see what the hell they are.

My question isn't what they're called, it's what do you think about them, Shep. Now I'm dying to hear your opinion, so please don't keep me waiting.

Thanks man, I dunno, I'm on the fence, was trying to see them on another XJ for comparison. I think they do hang down a bit, so you make a good point.

Ah what to do what to do...

and yes for $45 they would be a cool addition...
