Nerf Bars (pic request, opinion plz)
Found these on craigslist:
http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/1406440689.html
And I'm thinking about getting them. Anyone have any pics with Jeep nerfs? Also want to know about the quality of the Jeep nerfs - how sturdy are they? I don't go wheelin' a ton (yet...I've still only had it for 3 weeks) but I do plan to go off road on some tracks up north here in Michigan. Nothing too rocky or crazy...again, yet.
But I do think they would look sharp on my rig, and they're pretty cheap ... even if I only use them as something to kick my boots off on before I get in in the winter.
Just wondering what the drawback is - need to see some pics too.

honestly does it realy matter what the guy in the craigs list called them, you can see that they are running boards
OP:
for 45 bucks they are a pretty good buy if you like the look of them, but if you get in to any offroading you might get hung up on them, i beleve they hang down a little bit i havent seen a pic of a jeep with them in a while
i wouldnt use them as rock sliders, thats for sure

My question isn't what they're called, it's what do you think about them, Shep. Now I'm dying to hear your opinion, so please don't keep me waiting.

man... and you sound so confident... nerf bars are for vehicles too... running boards are generally flat boards with no gap to the rockers while nerf bars are tube type steps or bars that run along the side of trucks, jeeps and other suvs... they are on quads too, but make sure your right before you post... search nerf bars and see what comes up...
