Thanks for taking a look. Glad to call myself a Jeeper now and I'm excited to be a contributing member here. On to the rust! So I've been going thru everything on my '01 Sport and I've found myself in need of some perspective from more experienced folks on this particular issue. I'm in MA and my vehicle is a MA native (87k). Below are some pics of my areas of concern. I've been researching and preparing myself to go all out with the wire brushes rustoleum rust reformer/undercoat or maybe just POR-15 my underbody but I'm thinking I should take a step back and hear from you all if it's even worth the headache of doing the whole thing or just maybe focusing on these isolated areas.. I believe I may be blowing things out of proportion.

lol I'm not worried about this piece but it was surprising to see something actually fall of with the flick of the wrist!
Aftermath of the downfall... can see a bit more of the body back there looks like needs some cleaning
Tow hardware over whats left of it on the frame rail. I'm going to remove this to get a better look at everything

So... From what I can tell with the shackles still on it seems pretty solid back there. I hope that is the case. Anyway, i'm looking for a little dope slap if i'm overthinking or some straight talk if I'm being naive. Much appreciated everyone!
