so my xj only starts on the second try, read up on it, and basically stated that if the schrader valve type deal doesnt squirt out fuel, then its bad and needs to be replaced with an aftermarket check valve, spliced in or something. my question is..

where exactly is the part located that i need to replace?
can i just ****** one at the junkyard?
looked up feul check valve online but it only gives me actual fuel pumps. i can replace this but dont know exactly how the part looks like..

any helps greatly appreciated!
