need some help from the minds on cherokee / grand cherokee
I have run across a 97 grand Cherokee Laredo with no title for sale cheep around 300$ owner now knows some about it but not much it has the 4.0 in it has aroud 220k I own a 97 Cherokee aw4 231 4.0 is there enough parts that will interchange for this to be worth the price I know a lot of steering parts and engine will interchange not sure on what else and getting a title not a option long explanation but not stolen so parts only thanks for any help

I'm not sure about the 4.0 being able to swap to your XJ on most Grands they will not. As for the steering you should buy it new the cost is only $100 and not use old TRE's.

I thought 4.0 had the same block but wasn't sure and I was looking at using the steering box pitman arm and the spindle if compatible pricey for new I guess the spare parts excited me but I really was interested in the motor to rebuild for a project but if it won't work it's a pointless project lol
