Need Quick Response Please!

Im trying to take off for deer season and I ran my jeep down to the store and back, when I got home a bunch of coolant was allover the ground I looked and saw this....

its leaking right where the coolant is visible I don't know what the part is?
Any help as soon as possible is greatly appreciated!

It looks to me like some sort of heater control valve.

Heater control valve. Take it out and run new hoses

Eliminate the heater control valve and u eliminate the leak......the Factory did just that on '97 up XJs.

Buy bulk 5/8" and 3/4" heater hose at any auto parts store. Run new heater hoses from the the t-stat cover and water pump to the 2 heater core nipples at the firewall. Be sure to plug, cap, seal the small vacuum hose.
