need quick help with fender flares

Default need quick help with fender flares

hi i have a quick question how do i remove my rear fender flares on my 96 Cherokee i do not want to brake them but i only see two bolts one one each end any help would be appreciated

If they are like the 95, there is a screw on the bottom of each end of the flare, these might be what you see. The remaining fasteners are nuts on the inside of the wheel well and are best removed with the tires off. You WILL break a couple of the mounting studs from the backing plates while removing the nuts.
I replaced mine with screws and bolts from the local hardware store. I drilled out the broken studs and used a good thread sealer to bolt the new screws to the backing plates. I used a second bolt on each screw as the replacement for the original nut. Sounds weird but it worked.

Yep, jeepesh is right. They should he 10 mm if I remember right, the ones in the wheel well that is

thank guys i did find them there was a little mud caked on them i didnt notice at first but got it off... all the bolts broke tho

Mines broke aswell when I removed mines the strips were basically useless haha. I didnt plan on putting them back on so I just chucked them.
