hi i have a quick question how do i remove my rear fender flares on my 96 Cherokee i do not want to brake them but i only see two bolts one one each end any help would be appreciated
If they are like the 95, there is a screw on the bottom of each end of the flare, these might be what you see. The remaining fasteners are nuts on the inside of the wheel well and are best removed with the tires off. You WILL break a couple of the mounting studs from the backing plates while removing the nuts.
I replaced mine with screws and bolts from the local hardware store. I drilled out the broken studs and used a good thread sealer to bolt the new screws to the backing plates. I used a second bolt on each screw as the replacement for the original nut. Sounds weird but it worked.
