Default Need opinions...Trim color

Well I've been looking for easy and cheap mods I can do to my xj and I've been pondering the idea of a new trim color. Pics of my rig can been found in my album on the site. I've seen rigs that have parts under the body that have been powder coated a different color. They look pretty cool, when done the right way. Obviously my xj is very red with some black. I dont know what color that would go good with it. I want to paint things like the skids plates, gas tank skid, coils, shackles and so on. Not too much but enough to look good. Lime green has been in the back of my mind but cant bring myself to do it yet. What are your guys thoughts. But please no remarks like thats gay...Thanks guys.

thats gay.

really now, powder coating is awesome. I wanna paint my XJ a dark red color, and then have black bedlining on the bottom parts of the doors, the rockers and everything underneath, then have my Long Arms, springs and everything a yellow color.
I'm taking my plan for a color scheme from the Coral Snake, feel free to steal it

Ive always been a big fan of just black and red,I like the contrast, if that was what I had I would keep it that way cuz Im simple like that, but If I had to add more color I think the lime green would look pritty sick, again I like contrst.

ok cool, at least im not alone on the lime green color haha. I really like the red on black but was wondering how it would look with even more red under the rig. I want to do something thats pops out you know. What would be the difference in apperence between powder coating it and just myself priming, painting then clear coating it. Powder coating would cost a ton.... anymore thoughts about colors?

I've always liked red. black, and silver together. Maybe paint the skids and stuff an aluminum color. LIME green would not be my first choice to say the least, but it is your jeep so it is up to you. Make sure to put up some pics when it is done.

What ever collor you go with underneith you could paint or powder coat it and it should look about the same until you take it out a couple of times. the powder coat is just way tougher than paint, it will hold up to the trails alot better without gitting scratched.

Not too sure I would put green paint with red Jeep...even if it is lime green it would always make me think "christmas colors" know what I mean?

And why would you ever have any trim painted anything but CHROME!!!

no just kidding lol

I would just go simple, red and black but that's just me.
