Default need new water pump (reman vs new)

ok...before i posted this i made sure to search other water pump threads. unfortunately i didn't find any pertaining to my question. i've purchased re-manufactured parts for the XJ before. but never for a water pump.

i was wondering if any other CF members had purchased re-manufactured water pumps and wanted to know how long they lasted you?

tnx ya'll

Just get a new one.

Auto zone has one with a warranty for life . I think I paid like 40$?

Like the prior post "go with a new one", at Advance Auto the price differance is 17 bucks, if you look at the link below they explain why thier new one is good, but on the rebuilt one they do not say anything. Also the new one has a lifetime verses a 1 yr for the Rebuilt.

Definitely get new. It's not worth the savings on a reman.

My wife's WJ has the 4.0 and I did the water pump 2 years ago with a refurb and last month when it needed to be replaced AGAIN, I threw a non-refurb in. GO NEW!
