See that white plastic fitting in the rear grommet?
Remove that whole pipe/fitting and blow it out with carb cleaner.
Got a piece of bicycle inner tube?
REmove the rubber gasket from the oil filler cap. Cut a piece of bike tube the exact size. Put it on and then the original gasket. It will be a bear to reinstall the cap the first few times but will get easier with time. Then the filler cap won't leak.
BTW, is this better than a new engine?

You absolutely sure it's not blowing from the cap area to the rear grommet area? Do the cap fix, clean the valve cover, and then drive it.
