Need Ignition Switch Help!!!
I believe that my ignition switch is going out on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Sometimes when I turn the key there is nothing turning on, no power at all. It even kills power to the radio and I have to reset it. If I wiggle or take out the key and put it back in then the Jeep will start. I have never done anything in a steering column this new (older than 1970 yes, but not 1996). How hard is it to do. Would this problem be just the switch and not the tumbler? Or are they the same on this year Jeep? I need some good advice, please. Thank you for any help.

If you don't have a Airbag this write-up here may get you pretty close to it. I didn't read it all though.

I know I have seen Write-ups for it on NAXJA.org.
