need help rough idle

need help rough idle

95 cherokee country 4.0 idles rough in gear i have tried new plugs wires cap and rotor button

33.3% in gas tank, 33.3% in crank case (only if youre close to an oil change), and 33.3% in throttle body.

Sounds like it might be a vacuum leak. Use a can
OF WD40 TO FIND IT. Spray it around ur lines while idleing.
Your rpms will pick up if there is a leak.

what lines do you spray it around...the ones going into the intake manifold

Compression check.... Thats where you need to start. If its bad then you can stop dumping money into it. I'm talking from experience here, chased a rough idle for months. Turned out low compression in 2 cylinders. Now i'm just driving it and doing other mods.
