Default Need help removing slave cylinder 86 2.5l

I'm stumped here guys, I cannot figure out how to get the top nut removed from the clutch slave cylinder on a 1986 Jeep Cherokee 2.5L. I've tried extensions with a universal adapter and an open end wrench, no luck. I'm about to cut this wrench in half so I can actually move it around.

Thanks!

Is it the external mounted unit? My manual says: Step 1. remove tranny.. I'm guessing you're not planning on step 1?

Yeah its externally mounted and I don't have a jack to drop the tranny. I've cut a box wrench in half, hope that works.

Would a crows foot work? I'm not too familiar with that motor, just throwing it out there
