Lightbulb NEED HELP! please read and help if you can

OK i have a 94 Cherokee sport 4.0. now heres what its doing. i can be sitting at a stop light or even driving down the road and it will just die. it happened a few times one day then a week later it happened again and then it started doing it daily and most the time it started right back up but this last time it died 6 times with in 6 miles and during that time it took 30 minutes before it would start again and now it wont start at all. any info or help would be appreciated

It could be alot of things

Fuel pump, vacume leak ,distributer etc.

How does it drive when it's driving?

it drives great no problems it just dies. now i can hear the fule pump prime when i turn the ignition but i know that doesnt mean alot but i know it primes

It could also be the cps (crank position sensor).

You really need to go over everything. Start with basics

Try this first, Take the negative battery cable off for a few mins. Then put it back on,this will reset the computer. See if it still does it then.

I didn't read that you said it wouldn't start at all now.

Does it turn over anymore

ya it still cranks but just wont start

its a stick. i tried with the clutch in and out

ya i thought about that Advanced auto parts does a free reading but its getting it there to do it but ya that is something i need to do

have them check your fuel pressure too

You should pull your distributer cap for ****s and giggles

I know the cps usually get all greased up and gives a false read. Usually it just needs to be cleaned. Tuff getting to it though.
