***Can anyone help me!!***
Hi everyone. I have a Jeep Cherokee 1998 year 2.5 petrol/gasoline engine. Broken down. Steam everywhere. Metallicy sound from engine just before engine stopped. Engine now very cold and failing to start at all. Anyone come across it or know of the fault?
Thank you everyone!!

i'm guessing you have it home, pop the hood and watch as someone else cranks it and see if everything is turning correctly.
check your fluids, look at the coolant for evidence of oil and vice-versa.
make a good visual inspection of the motor itself, note any odd leaks or things that appear not normal and report back.
pics are also useful
