need help on my 1994 cherokee
Older post I know, came across it while looking for something else. The connector that is screwed into the dash looks like remnants or a Pro-Loc. The Pro-Loc had this handy little key Fob chip that plugged into the connector to allow the igniton to function. In the nineties it was all the rage, then came the miracle of car alarms. The Pro-Loc on my '93 was tied in to said yellow wire. To remove....snip, crimp, butt connector to bridge factory yellow wire and done. Now the big yellow block...relay buss. Relays in it include fuel pump, rear window defrost (red one), etc.

IIRC ProLock has gone out of business. The system in my Jeep was just a fancy starter interrupt switched on and off by the chip fob. High tech kill switch....whoopee.
