Need help with massive coolant leak

Default Need help with massive coolant leak

Alright so i changed my spark plugs yesterday and one of the pieces my heating hose connects to broke off inside it so i couldnt get it back on. Well me and my buddy thought we would makeshift something that would fix it but it didnt work and it still leaks, so can someone please tell me how to fix this and also what part this thing is

Heater Control Valve.. try your local parts store of dealership.

These are not worth the aggrivation of grabbing used, they get brittle and break.

Yeah thats how mine broke in the first place, thanks man i hope i can get one today

The real fix is to just bypass that thing. It leads to clogged heater cores. The 97+ XJ's did just that, and to make it easy you can just order the heater hoses from those later models.
