Need help locating where this ground wire plugs in at

Default Need help locating where this ground wire plugs in at

89 4.0 auto.

Was wondering where this ground wire connects....its connected to the ground point, just wondering what does it plug into? Its under the dash, by what would be my left foot (drivers side of jeep). I looked for a spot, but didn't see one...

Looks like a wire someone added, wouldn't have a clue,
could be anything.

Not factory for sure.

Speaking of grounds, Scottie, have you ever clicked on the link below and at least done what's outlined in posts 1, 3, 4, and 5?

with all the switches and gadgets that can come with an automatic is there anything that has never worked since you got this XJ?

thanks cruiser.

I recall that I did some, but guess it wouldn't hurt to do them again works keepin me busy, ill do it again when I got some time.
