Amateur DIYer here. I need to replace a vacuum connector and I don't know what to ask for. This is on a '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L 6 cyl. It's an L-shaped connector for a vacuum line. It comes off the outside of the intake manifold, just under the throttle body, and the plastic line it's attached to appears to go into the firewall. This one has dry rot and is having trouble holding onto the line.
Sometimes you can just use a piece of hose here if you can't find a rubber elbow on the "Help Wall" at the auto parts store.
Thing is that the nipple on the intake might be a different enough diameter then the plastic line it connects to which would prevent you from doing this.
Really can't see anything in that picture plus pretty sure your set up is slightly different then my '00 and really don't know exactly how it is set up so.....
