I just bought my 92 cherokee 4 door sport 4x4 5 speed for work and play the tak does not work and the gas guage said half tank when i put 15 bucks in gas it said i had 3/8 tank so i put 10 more in and now it says just under a 1/4 tank i also get a clicking from front passanger side like hub bearing or u joint. It makes the cliking as long as the trucks moving at any speed. I have a rather random shacking up front at 55mph and above that can come and go or get worse then better any help would be nice

 

I wonder if someone put the wrong fuel level sender in? The renix senders work opposite those of later years, ie: full will read empty and empty will read full.
The clicking might be a front u-joint or possibly wheel bearing. Does the clicking change when you turn left or right? You'll have to lift it up and start moving parts by hand to see if you can find it.
While you are under there check the front suspension, particularly the track bar for loose fasteners or wallowed-out mounting holes.
Might also be related to the clicking, if it's a u-joint that's failed. That can cause a vibration too.

 

Iv jacked it up and did the bearing test no play but i had it jacked up becuase my front pass calaper froze and started smoking. let it set for an hour before i drive home. My friend gave me a harbor fraight u joint ball joint kit so i can do it my self iv done alot of odds and ends repairs, head gaskets cluches breaks and the norms. But never a u joint or ball joint. Or electric unless a cd player and subs amp. Also if u know how many springs are in the back hatch latch are there mine has one wont stay latched if u go over bumps and its a pta to get latched

 

I cant tell if its a u joint or bearing but my tie rods seem good no play or wiggles i dont get any wiggling frim my tire so may not be bearings but still could be it sounds like rusty bearings but kinda like a break scrubber but not my breaks sounds simmaler tho comes from front somewhere and a odd shaking up front that comes and goes over 55mph it can sgack lightly or hard
