Default Need help getting the rig going

Ok so for a couple weeks I was having an issue of after long drives my 99 Cherokee sport 4.0 would have problems starting and finally it threw a code for crank position sensor. I replaced the sensor with a standard brand sensor. It worked and would idle ok, it would drive fine except for low rpm and idle. When I would get to low rpm it would just stall and die so I bought the mopar part off Amazon and now it starts but won’t hold a good idle and the intake sounds like it is sucking in a bunch of air, way more than normal. I have had some people say that it could be my tps or iac but I haven’t had the time to check on those. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this or things I should check. Thank you!

You mean other than your TPS and/or IAC?

Did you clear the codes after replacing the CPS? Are you getting more codes now?

well I was just wondering if it could be those things. I think I am going to try to clean or replace the iac today and we will see if that works.

OK, so let's try this part again.

Did you reset the PCM to remove any codes? Is your check engine light on now? If so, what codes is it displaying?
