Default NEED HELP fuel problems,

i got a 1988 cherokee 4x4 4.0 when i take off from a dead start and give it 1/4 + on the gas she spits and sputters badly(like someone driving a striaght drive that takes off and jerks) i also have to start it twice everytime to get her to start. ive replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and cant seem to troubleshoot it.

If I were you I would check it with a mechanical pressure gauge to make sure that you have good pressure before you start dumping money it to it.
BTW, What brand of fuel pump did you install?
