Default Need Help Diagnosing

Alright, Just got done fixing all my cooling system problems (new radiator, hoses, etc.)...jeep was running fine for about a week till i drove it yesterday...its hard to explain but when i would get on the gas to speed up it would feel like i was running out of gas ( like a jerking feeling) and now it has a rough idle and it sounds terrible, like it is missing or something..also had an almost burning smell after driving...

any ideas on what could be the problem would be appreciated...

Thanks

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Is the CEL on?

That doesn't mean anything, If you have a dead O2 sensor the computer wouldn't detect a lean condition and would thus not turn the CEL on.

I'd suggest checking your O2 sensor for starters and then replacing the fuel filter(since its probably the factory filter and never been replaced so its way past the time to do that anyways)

Now I remember I had that issue with mine once. Turned out the EGR was malfunctioning. Sray some carb clean on it with the motoer idling. if it surges or stalls theres your problem.

He doesn't have an EGR Valve. they got rid of that system when they switched from RENIX to the Chrysler injection system

whoops! your right! I just checked the 94 parts heap and no-valve. Alright check for clogged fuel filter. That'll make it buck and jerk.

That it will, and if the O2 sensor isn't detecting the lean condition and causing a CEL that makes me suspect his O2 sensor might also be dead.
