So, I did some searching and didnt come up with any specific info. Im looking for replacement seals for all 4 doors and my rear hatch. It is the seal that attaches to the body (looks like it attaches under tons of trim pieces and stuff).

I tried looking on jcwhitney but all of that looks like weather stripping for the windows, which is not what im looking for. I priced out new stuff from the dealer and they want 90 bucks per door.

Can anyone provide a better source? Or am I going to be stuck throwing down 90 bucks a door? That would have me paying more for the seals than what I paid for the entire jeep.

 

I know this is not exactly what brandon wants but if anyone has done a super ultra cheap hradware store repair for any of the seals including the windows I would like to hear about that as well. Sorry for hijaking a thread. I also second brandons question...

That's about the cheapest I could find for the set. It comes from teamcherokee.com They have tons of great replacement parts there

 

JY. You could probably get all the seals for all the doors for about $50 at a junkyard. Get the seals for the front doors from a 96-up XJ and everything else from a per-96 Cherokee. they changed the seal design in 96 and the post 96 front door seals work way better than pre-96s

 

Yea, thats basically exactly what I need; I found that site too. The exact ones I need are listed on that site for like 124 per side or something insane. As far as hitting a jy, I wish... The jys here are already picked bare of xjs, so I have nothing to scavenge from at all. I really REALLY wish I would have picked the one bare that I found in the early fall. It was cherry, immaculate interior and everything, this thing could have litterally been driven off the yard if it had a new motor. = me

I may have a source from one of the members on here, so we'll see.

I couldnt find those cheap seals you guys did so instead I bought a 30' of pickup truck bed cap wrapped the doors in it where the seals meet, good to go. nice cheap fix.

 

Where do I find door seals for my 97 xj? All I can find are for up to 96.
