Default NEED HELP!!! Brand new to Jeep!!!!

Hey Guys,
I just got a 98 cherokee and today i was driving it and the tach, odometer, gas guage, oil pressure gauge and volt gauge all went out. The trip counter will read the mileage for a few seconds then turn over to NO BUS. The radio has no power to it and only the drivers side window controls work the windows to go up or down. I am brand new to jeep and from what i've read this is a fairly common problem. I am located in Central NJ and I am looking for help!!!!

check fuse#16 in your fuse box under hood. its the bottom right fuse in the center with all the small fuses! 15 amp fuse.
of course you will need to know why it blew

Yes its just the contacts on the back of the inst. panel, but if one day it doesn't start and says NO BUS the crank senser is bad.

I have the whole dash pulled apart and I had pulled the cluster and reconnected the 2 green connectors that the cluster connect to in the back and I got nothing on the cluster. Yes I tried with the battery on. I'm at a loss now and don't know where else to look to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
