This is a HUGE no-no.

1) Allows for corrosion
2) Doesn't lubricate the impeller bearings in the water pump
3) Antifreeze not only lowers the freezing temp of the coolant, but also raises the boiling temp. It has NOTHING to do with location.

Start by emptying the radiator and refilling with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and DISTILLED water.

Huh....good to know. Not that I live down south, but have known tons of people that just run straight water down there.

Water boils at 212. The 4.0 thermostat is 195' and usually runs at 200-210. Running straight water = boil over and blown head gaskets and blown lotsofotherstuff.

The stuff costs $12 a gallon and can last for 50,000+ miles. To not use it is pure stupidity.

Hot iron + water = rust.

Is rusting a problem in Jeeps? Is rust good?

But the radiator and coolant system has nothing to do with my original problem still cant figure out why it stalls out after rpms drop lower then 1k. Iv replaced throttle boddy and both sensors with it. Did all new vacume lines i cant figure out wats going on still. And no codes show up either of checked everyday for the past month still nothing trips a code.

Ikatoo,

your fuel pressure regulator or fuel pressure is probably weak, put a gauge on the fuel rail and have a friend rev it up when you start it, (hand manipulate the throttle lever on the throttle body), and watch the pressure gauge.

might be part of the larger problem here.

just my two cents,

good luck sir!

212*F at standard sea level pressure. The cooling system on a vehicle is pressurized when it gets hot. The pressure is regulated by the radiator cap. Water under 16 PSI of pressure above the standard sea level pressure does not boil until around 250*F or so.

Correct. Switching to 50/50 antifreeze will raise that boiling point only about 6 degrees. But it also lowers your radiator's efficiency as it doesn't transfer heat as well as pure water. Rust is really the biggest issue in warm climates.

Low oil pressure that isn't due to worn bearings. Gauge failures are often bad sending units and/or wiring. Which brings up another thing to check- your engine/chassis/battery grounds. Over near the dipstick you'll find some too.
The TB you installed, it was used? How do you know the IAC and TPS were any good?
"looking" for vacuum leaks doesn't work. Spray around intake gaskets, etc with carb or brake cleaner looking for a change in RPM.
