Im interested in an 86 cherokee. Its a 2.5, 4x4 and 5 speed for 1500. It is said to need rear end work but is driven daily still. It is shakes alittle or is jumpy pulling off and pulling back in but clears up after you get going. What could I be dealing with?

 

WAAAYYYYY Too expensive. I got my 1992 4.0 in near-perfect mechanical condition for $1,150.
I would focus on bringing the price down before you even consider it.

 

Kind of spendy for a truck with a 4banger that is 26 years old...

 

Oh god i forgot the 2.5 is a I4. I thought it was the V6, but that would be the 2.8

I would stay away from it.
