Default Front driveshaft Question

Im gettin a clunking sound that i can feel right below my feet and i checked to make sure the balance weights were still attached to the front driveshaft and they are. Theres no play side to side or up and down but it slide towards the front and back of the car about a half inch. Should there play in those directions?

I think there should be play like that, so it can move with the suspension.

Could be you're exhaust system, it's supported by the T-Case support which would be below your seat.
