did you do anything else, like change the pads or calipers or anything?
booster could be bad, but will usually leak internally. did you start your bleed at the furthest wheel (passenger rear)?

You may need to have them pressure bled. There is a check ball in the proportioning valve that limits the amount of pressure going to the front and rear brakes. It sometimes moves when you incorectly bleed the brakes.
Almost 70% of braking is done by the front brakes so you do not want the exact same pressure going to the rears or they would lock up every time you tried to stop.

Are you pumping the brakes before you hold them? you shoudnt be moving the brake pedal when the bleeder is open
If you dont have a bleeder system youneed to pump them
2 person operation
pump the brakes 4-5 time until you get a pedal
hold it
loosen bleeder
pedal should go to the floor
retighten bleeder
release brake
check pedal again
check your fluid
start with the wheel furthest away from the master cylinder
