NEED ADVISE for installing lift
I ordered a three inch add-a-leaf kit. Ive never installed a lift before. im guessing that it will be self explanatory but if anyone has any advise please feel free to pass it along unless your gonna complain about the type of lift i bought to which all i can say is its all i can afford. it was 120 for the leaf and new coils. One question i do have is i just put new skyjacker shocks in the rear a few months ago that are rated for factory hieght. Now i plan to replace the front factory shocks either way but i was wondering if i can get by with the skyjackers since i dont plan to do any serious off-roading until my jeep is paid off. by then i would replace them but i just hate to throw away 80 bucks that fast. thanks for any input.

Get th Rough Country 3in Lift from carparts.com. It comes with everything. Shocks, springs, aal, shock boots and all hardware for $227.99 with taxes and shipping. Thats otd. And yes you will need longer shocks. The first time you over extend them they can break. As for coils, just take the old ones off and drop axle as low as you can. Then jack up one side til you can slide it in. Repeat for other side. I just did this and didnt need a spring compressor. Just slid right in. Good luck.
