Hello, I'm looking to save $115 and get a NAPA($200) fuel pump instead of the Bosch ($315)

BUT not if it makes me regret it. Has anybody here used the NAPA fuel pump?

I don't know for sure you'll be regretting it, just replacing it with a Bosch.

 

Do you need the whole assembly or just the pump? It's considerably cheaper to replace the pump itself and re-use the rest of the assembly.
I've only purchased one fuel pump from NAPA, for a Chevy. Didn't last very long. I've heard they are made by Carter but who knows.

 

I'm having the "turns off while driving" issue. Also sometimes it will not start similar to a heat soak. AND my fuel gauge is wacked. So I'm replacing the whole assy so that I get the fuel level sensor and filter as well. FWIW I will be replacing the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) as well.

Sounds like Bosch it is...darn, I was hoping for a glowing review.
