Default name that vacuum

Ok I’m sorry I don’t have a picture my phone died right as I found it. it’sa vacuum line which I believe runs from the intake across the firewall on thepassenger side up the fender past the battery into front bumper what does thisline do ? 2000 4.0 4x4

that goes to the vacuum reservoir located in the front bumper on the passenger side. If i recall correctly, the HVAC unit uses that vacuum to actuate the blend doors from floor/vent/defrost.

Check the plastic hose good. They can wear through and cause vacuum leak. That can cause engine issues.
