My cruise control seems to have mysteriously stopped working, so I was poking around under the hood to look for vacuum leaks and I stumbled across this unplugged connection. What is this supposed to be connected to? I didn't see anywhere it could possibly plug into.

 

Do you have an under hood light attached to the underside of your hood in that area? If so is it connected to a wire? Looks like the plug for that.

 

I agree, my under hood light plug looks like that and is located in that area.

 

I don't have the original hood so maybe it used to have a light.
