Well I'm sure its been said but here goes , it could be the rear main the pass side rear corner of the valve cover. Also the oil filter adapter will leak all these will give you the results you are showing. oh I forgot the oil pan, but not as much as the others. If you do come down to the rear main be sure you replace the oil pump at the same time.

Since you've heard everything uner the sun as far as a fix, I offer up the clean it off montra again. That is the ONLY way you will know for sure what is leaking. Buy engine brite, not the foamy kind, just the regular stuff. Pick up at leat two cans, they are about $4.00, and well worth it. Take it to a car wash and spay the cans of EB all over the engine and everthing else that oil got on, that is why it is a good thing to have too much, like I saiid at least two cans, if not three. It will steam and stink, that is OK!! Let it sit for a few minutes, then use the wand and wash your engine well. The stuff smells like diesel, and it may very well be diesel or diesel based, whatever...it works like a freakin champ. Your engine will look like new, and you'll be able to see exactly where your oil leaks are coming from. Drive around for a bit, and park it. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, and you will be able to spot where your problems are. I am a stickler when it comes to the cleanliness of my engine bay. I feel that if it's clean, it's far easier to spot potential problems, before they become major ones. HTH!!

I just dealt with the same thing pictured at the start of the thread. I went and got a steam clean (Who would of thought I had a brand new looking engine under all that crud!)

Turned out the main culprit was my oil filter adapter. After getting new seals 99% of the dripping stopped. I still have seepage from the valve cover gasket and the valve cover itself. My head gasket is also seeping a bit.

Default I have same problem

ok I have replaced the valve cover gasket, rear main seal, and oil pan gasket but it is still leaking like crazy in the same spot as on the pics this guy has. at an idle no leak but drive it and it is nearly pouring out plus when I first start it oil psi is perfect but once it gets warmed up psi drops to nothing any ideas

My jeep looked exactly like yours does.

First I changed the valve cover gasket. it was leaking towards the back. After a while I noticed it stopped dripping from the oil pan bolt.

a few days ago I changed my oil filter adapter o-rings (3) because it was leaking also, but not sure if it was contributing.

Next im going to tackle the rear main seal + oil pan gasket. No sense just doing the oil pan gasket if the rear main seal might be leaking also, so im doing both. and might as well replace my pump while i'm in there. . which I think is whats leaking near the transmission. Porbably going to do the rear main seal in the spring.
